Bienvenido A Cuba
Bienvenido a Cuba, Bienvenido a la Havana
Bienvenido a Cuba, Bienvenido a la Havana
Here I am in Havana, it's a Saturday night
There's a fat northern man at the bar
And he's obviously feeling alright
He is wearing a bad toupee
And there's pesos sticking out of his pants
With him is a Cuban woman in her early twenties
Who watches him dance
He has a wild full-of-rum smile
Because this Cuban goddess is with him
Even though he moves with the rhythm of someone
Who's never had any rhythm
But he's 25 mojitos to the wind
And he takes up a lot of space
He'll probably have a heart attack tonight
But he'll die with a smile on his face
Across the dance floor there's a young Cuban named Raúl
Whose pants are too tight
He's been dancing with a secretary named Liette
She won't die tonight - but Raúl might
Bienvenido a Cuba, Bienvenido a la Havana
Bienvenido a Cuba, Bienvenido a la Havana
I'm on a package tour to Varadero
It's all inclusive and there's no fuss
I had to take a bus to get to the beaches
As a matter of fact I had to take a bus to get to the bus
I should have got the deluxe room, I should have got the deluxe room
Look at the view I've got
I look out of my window and I'm looking at a dumpster
In the middle of a parking lot
There was a party last night, a party last night
I spent too much time there,
I woke up this morning ... I think I bought a timeshare
There's a lot of things that aren't included in an all-inclusive
Like for example light bulbs, which are elusive
And they keep saying to you,
"la vida es resistente, está tambien la carne
La vida es resistente, está tambien la carne
The words mean, in Cuba life is tough, so is the meat
... Say hello to my little friend
Varadero has a peaceful beach
And the ocean is within your reach
Varadero has a latin flair
There is music playing everywhere
Varadero may be very nice
But I'm never gonna go there twice
If the destination's up to me
Havana is the place to be
